Spitalele din Gaza mai au combustibil pentru generatoare doar pentru aproximativ 24 de ore, a anunţat biroul umanitar al ONU (OCHA). Potrivit The Guardian, se estimează că rezervele de combustibil din toate spitalele din Gaza vor ajunge pentru încă aproximativ 24 de ore. Oprirea generatoarelor de rezervă ar pune în pericol vieţile a mii de pacienţi.

OCHA a mai menționat că bombardamentele israeliene intense asupra Gaza, lansate din aer, de pe uscat şi de pe mare, au continuat „aproape neîntrerupt”. Până duminică, la ora 22:00, 455 de palestinieni au fost ucişi şi 856 răniţi în ultimele 24 de ore, a adăugat OCHA, citând Ministerul palestinian al Sănătăţii din Gaza.
De asemenea, din partea aceleiași surse s-a precizat că „strămutările în masă” ale palestinienilor au continuat, după ce armata israeliană le-a spus vineri locuitorilor din Gaza să plece în sudul enclavei.
