Patru oameni au fost grav răniți, după ce un fulger a lovit în apropierea clădirii-simbol de la Washington.
Patru persoane erau în stare critică, joi noapte, după ce se pare că au fost lovite de fulger într-un parc aflat la nord de Casa Albă, au declarat oficialii americani, potrivit nytimes.com.
E vorba despre un parc public care se învecinează cu reşedinţa preşedintelui SUA.
Victimele – două femei și doi bărbați – se aflau în Lafayette Square (Piața Lafayette), care se află în apropiere de Casa Albă. Totul s-ar fi întâmplat cu puține minute înainte de ora 19, joi seară.

Din câte a precizat Vito Maggiolo, un purtător de cuvânt al Departamentului de Pompieri și Servicii Medicale de Urgență din D.C., fulgerul a lovit „în imediata lor apropiere”, conform sursei citate. Se pare că victimele s-ar fi aflat în apropierea unor copaci când a lovit fulgerul.
Cele patru persoane rănite au fost transportate la spital. De altfel, pe rețelele de socializare au apărut imagini cu numeroase mașini de salvare aflate în fața gardurilor Casei Albe.
