Forajul de 10.000 de metri a început, dar secretul este bine păzit, și nimeni nu știe care este în realitate scopul explorării.
Vor să ajungă la roci din perioada cretacică
Totuşi, conform unor surse, cercetătorii speră să atingă roci din perioada cretacică, vechi de peste 145 de milioane de ani.
Toate aceste săpături fac parte dintr-un amplu proiect lansat recent de cercetătorii chinezi, proiect care își propune să identifice resursele minerale din adâncul planetei și să evalueze posibilele riscuri de sub pământ, cum ar fi vulcani și cutremure.
„Dificultatea realizării unui astfel de proiect de forare poate fi comparat cu conducerea unui camion uriaș pe două cabluri de oțel”, a explicat Sun Jinsheng, profesor la Academia de Inginerie din China.
Ce sondă de foraj folosesc?
Sonda de foraj, care are o adâncime proiectată de peste 11.000 de metri, este compusă din burghie și țevi de foraj care sapă prin dificilul bazin Tarim, în regiunea autonomă Xinjiang Uyghur din nord-vestul Chinei.
Nu este însă primul foraj la asemenea adâncimi. La 24 mai 1970, în Uniunea Sovietică a început proiectul cunoscut sub numele de „Kola Superdeep Borehole”, ajungându-se la o adâncime de 12.200 de metri.

In anii 70′-80′ (Epoca de Aur-Ceausescu) tehnologia romana de foraj cu echipamente fabricate la Utilaj Petrolier Ploiesti a reusit prima performanta mondiala de foraj la peste 10.000 m. Atunci eram in VARFUL tehnologiei mondiale petroliere, cu exporturi in tarile arabe si China.
Azi suntem CERSETORI, dar cu COADA pe sus !.
